Part III: Gynecologic Health

Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women. 528,000 new cases were diagnosed worldwide in 2012. However, most (84%) occurred in less developed regions (445,000 cases). Endometrial cancer is the sixth most common cancer in women worldwide (14th most common cancer overall), with 320,000 new cases diagnosed in 2012. Ovarian cancer is the seventh most common cancer in women worldwide, with 239,000 new cases diagnosed in 2012.

Women’s incredibly complex reproductive systems ensure the continuation of the human species and sustaining of life. Reproductive cells contain the genetic material for each of us. This miraculous process not only reproduces cells, but also allows genetic material to be sustained through generations.

We covered nutritional plans and other strategies that can help lower the chances of developing cancer, as well as reaching high levels of health in all areas in our Part 1 & II of our Tribute to Women of Green series. However, most diseases have large emotional components that must also be addressed. In fact, the conservative Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that 85-90% of all diseases are related to emotional stress. Most individuals have a psychological predisposition to disease, as well as a physical one. The mechanics are the same: emotional stress weakens the immune system, making you vulnerable to disease.

Many scientific studies and research have maintained that our emotional state plays a vital role in nearly every physical disease: from heart disease to depression, arthritis and cancer.

Taming Stress and Women’s Health The mechanism of stress helps us be productive, motivated and creative in our activities, projects and responsibilities.
Finding balance in healthy, motivational stress instead of succumbing to unbalanced, unhealthy and overwhelming stress creates the fine line between productivity and disease.

Create a Chemical-Free Body
Our modern diet, lifestyle and environment seriously overload our liver, resulting in increased levels of circulating toxins in the blood and damage to most of our body’s systems. Toxic substances are everywhere. They permeate the air we breathe, food we eat, and water we drink. If we can create a chemical free body and home, we can resolve 85% of our health issues, live past a hundred, and die without any disease label.

Fresh juicing is an effective way to greatly increase your daily nutritional intake of phytonutrients to support the liver and the body’s natural detoxification processes.
